Who We Are
One Truckee River is a nonprofit that manages a coalition of public and private partners working together to ensure a healthy, thriving, and sustainable river connected to the heart and minds of its community.
The 121-mile Truckee River corridor is managed and regulated by many federal, state, local, and tribal authorities. One Truckee River coordinates collaborative projects, secures resources, and works with partners to support agencies, businesses, and the public in protecting the Truckee River - bridging the gaps between these groups.
Our vision is to work together to realize a Truckee River that flows clear and clean; quenches our thirst; sustains the river’s natural ecology, cultural resources and wildlife; and connects residents and visitors to unparalleled opportunities for recreation and regeneration.
